CEREMONIES

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind!

NAMING CEREMONIES

Sometimes the traditional Christening Ceremony isn't quite what we're after. I know I felt that way when my boys reached the age where the expectation was on me as the parent to "do something" to officiate their arrival. Naming Ceremonies are the perfect alternative. A Naming Ceremony provides the opportunity to introduce your child to the world, express your love for them and your desire for them to grow and develop into upstanding members of the community with strong values, humility and respect for one another. You may still name God Parents but many people choose to use the terms Guardians or Mentors. Any one of these is fine. A Naming Ceremony provides your child the freedom to choose which path they wish to follow in their life be it religious or spiritual. It in no way impedes them from following a particular faith later in life. The God Parents (Guardians,Mentors) you select for your child will take on the responsibility alongside you as the parents to teach, guide and nurture your child in the various stages of their life. A Naming Ceremony usually lasts approximately 20 minutes and can include the playing of a favorite song and/or the reading of a favorite poetic verse either by yourself, the God Parents (Guardians,Mentors) or the Celebrant.

RENEWAL OF VOWS CEREMONIES

Do you want to do something special to commemorate a significant wedding anniversary such as 10 (Aluminum), 15 (Crystal), 25 (Silver) or 50 (Gold)?

Did you have to wed in a hurry due to social issues?

Did you elope and now wish you could have had your ceremony surrounded by family and friends?

Did you marry overseas and now wish to celebrate your union in your home country?

If you answered YES to any of the above you may wish to consider renewing your wedding vows. A Renewal of Vows Ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of love you still feel for one another and a beautiful way to do so before your own children and grandchildren. Express the importance they play in your lives by involving them in the ceremony too! As it is not a legally binding ceremony no paper work is involved which means all you have to worry about is having fun! It can be elaborate or quite simple and demure. The choice is entirely yours!

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES

Unfortunately the law of today still prevents the legal marriage of same sex couples but if you are in a same sex relationship and you wish to declare your love for one another then a Commitment Ceremony is the perfect way to do so. Like a wedding you and your partner can stand before your family and friends to express the love and spiritual connection that you share in your hearts as you make a promise to be committed to your partner for life. It is not a legally binding ceremony but you will receive a beautiful certificate to document the occasion which is signed by yourselves, your witnesses and the celebrant.

OTHER CEREMONIES

The ceremonies don't have to end here. There are all manner of occasions in life that are worth celebrating. Engagement, Significant Age, Adoption, New Home, Separation or Divorce.
